A Thank you card ... for the blessedness ...

in simplicity to a daughter for arranging a spur of the moment trip away from everything... We finally got to do it. The mystery destination of suspense in guess. A fantastic surprise to do a trip back to Wales. A new area to explore and find ones bearings seeing I had no idea where we were to begin with. 

Now from the North Wales Expressway to The Polar Express !

All things festive in seasons work of late, once more and again. The blessings in each and most of the moments in the different days now here ...

In 2015

I purchased the 2016 calendar tabs. That was all I did. 

In 2016 I made one of those school -/Guide calendars you do as a child for a daughter. The request in the summer by a daughter for one this year for next ... it was obviously  well received... I made it in Kernow ... we were crafting on the kitchen table making a holly wreath. It inspired me to rustle one 2017 calendar together... which I gave to our daughter .... 

The C word is not a word dreaded in the crafting calendar for those who spend the seasons doing the stash clearance in designing and creating ... Christmas is a fantastic opportunity all year round, and this harvest season for those who make goodie baskets with jams and pickles ... the hampers seeing their way in Wilko online now, besides Amazon and the other more gourmet shops, like the hop shop visit in the summer ... 

I have the Kraft card in with the glitter washi tape ... now the many projects I am juggling currently includes a crochet bag, the electronic way to sketch still to retry, I cannot resist no matter how hard I reduce the Crafts to relieve the quandaries in the transition back from the darkness to my crafting area again ... 

We shall see how far I get ... last year I still really didn’t have the patience to do the 3D wreath stuck with cut out intricate flowers from a seed catalogue I have done in times past ... instead I chose four seasons of photos and displayed them with borders of washi tape, to turn over for the Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter ... 

Transference to Quality

again it is hit and miss since the days the finished projects got finished... My Mum coaxing me; she is still not used to me not doing a piece of creative work. She does not quite get I am creating electronically instead. 

This will please her, my deceased Dads suggestions of simple motifs to make simple items  ... I have started with the traditional Granny ... and I will go back to the more elaborate I started last year. 

The delftly inspired dispersals of shite stuff no longer interested in a home where I can now get to lay out the colour palette again. The spur to finish and finalise a difficult space ... 

Memories New ...

and very much past. A daughter getting to see what the wider family have that gets scattered over time .... where it is now lost at times here... the clutter transference into a lot of housekeeping that keeps me amused when I am away from the actual mess in chaos transition... 

Crash, wallop

a fist fight with my stuff left in legacy ... the time for a few days to get the emotive pain emotional and physical out the way ... then a slog for a few weeks ...  

The acknowledged of a hardness part of grief in widowhood brings and sings ... 

And some more plans to fathom out the logistics ... to get back to what I will actually do with a life after a kill in still of time ... 

Vintage in Retro

the time in a evening, after time in change of making a memory blanket to snuggle up with a stash of the old yarn! The feel in lux of the fashion textures around much more these days in this hobby ... 

They say they are quick to knit these sometimes really chunky yarns  ... I beg to differ ... I love holding the enormous sizes that come with this yarn. toThe work up these days to crochet or knit ... Though there is a knack to handling it well, and not flop all about in your hands as you work! 

That lost creativity

flow with the abundance of pins one can access ... besides the rest ... side by side with the rest of others stunning portrayals .... 

I am trying to captivate good in this mess. 

I have been equipped with my own ideas on how to transform this life .... from the remnants ... the incentive to keep going to get to my work flow in space again ... 

A long, long way with the invisible obstacles no one can see except myself ... 

Making Use of what I have; not what I have not got !
